People in Poland - The Stewarz Family

These are pictures my Aunt Julia has collected through out her life. I'm sure they came with letters from Poland. Many of these photos have Polish writing on the back. From what I can understand these people, the Stewarz family, are cousins to my great grandmother Mary (Jarzab) Szeszol.

This is a group of pictures I don't know anything about. It looks like a wedding... but whose it is I have no idea.

This first image I feel is relevant because it says that the man with the white hair is Jan Szeszol, Pawel's son.

I believe the parents in the oldest picture to be Agnes Jarzab and Stan Stawarz (Stewarz). In GS Film #1959125 borrowed from the LDS Library, I found a reference on pg. 349 to a Joseph born on 10/27/1919 and a Casimir on pg. 357 born on 2/18/1921 to these two parents. Agnes' parents are listed as Stanislaus and Catherine Majka for both of those baptism records, who are also published in other public trees as being Mary Szeszol Jarzab's parents. That would make the two young boys in the first family photo Mary's nephews.

Other notes I made: Agnes was born 7/23(28?)/1878 and Stan Stawarz was born 12/23/1890. They married 1/23/1919. Stan's parents are Jan and Tekla Tabor. Their younger son was married 11/30/1974 to Stanislawa Drobol (probably the folks in the last 4 pictures of this post).

I have my own personal index that I pulled these from. Several years ago I attempted to make a master list of Jarzabs from Roza, as that's where my paternal Polish family comes from.

Cheers!
